Just catching up on some of the episodes from a few days ago. Watching the one about AOC calling to "rein in" the media. I saw the Tweet from Mike Benz about the DNC wanting to put censors on government payroll, and my first thought is how horrible that would be. But then I realized something... If we have censors on government payroll, then that means that those censors would be FORCED to comply with the 1A, or the federal government could be sued for violating the Constitution... as opposed to the current regime where corporations don't have to allow all 1A speech if it doesn't align with the values of the owners/board of directors.
I'm trying to decide whether having censors on government payroll would be better or worse, and I can't quite decide.
